My God is Bigger

Just this past week my team moved further south to our home for the next two months in Phuket, Thailand.
As the weekend passed and the week started we jumped right into ministry.

We are living and working with SHE. They are a ministry that goes into the open bars in the Red Light District of Phuket, Bangla Road. What we do is go into the bars and build relationships with the bar girls.  As a relationship is built opportunities arise for us to hang out with them outside of the bars and offer them a chance to get out of working the bars and prostitution.   So during the week we prayer walk down Bangla Road during the day, and either go out at night and meet girls or stay back and intercede for other teams that are going out.

As we met our contact he said… “Ladies, you will be working in the pit of hell.”

and really I couldn’t think of a better way to describe it.

Satan is so active and is fighting to have a hold on all the people working and visiting Bangla Road.

But my God is Bigger.

As I walked down Bangla Road my first night I felt God say to me:

“Look at this devastation, look at how big Satan seems…

I am bigger than that…

I am bigger than you could ever imagine…

This may be the pit of hell,

But you walk above that,

You have my Holy Spirit living in you..

So when you walk down Bangla Road…

I get the glory.”

God is so faithful,
Every time I walk down Bangla road he reveals more of himself to me

Whether it’s the Doves that decorate one bar, reminding me deliverance is coming
or the cross on signs that randomly appear…

or even the names of some bars…

like freedom, hungry and fire…

God is speaking to all of us there

and showing us he is moving.

I am filled with joy and praise!
Please keep us in your prayers:
Specifically for:

Unity and like mindedness..
Endurance and strength
wisdom and discernment
an increase in grace, mercy, peace
and really just an increase of Jesus in us.

Satan is not for us! He is totally against us.

Everyday is a spiritual battle…

There is so much spiritual warfare going on here

Please intercede for us as you feel lead!

And praise God for what he is doing an already done!

Praise is so powerful!

Below is a video about SHE ministry  and the girls they work with.
Its really an amazing, and heartbreaking video.
Please take a minute to watch this.

Remember Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

  1. Go Kacey Go! Walk on bangala road like a kings daughter ;),give glory to God and you guys should just keep lettig the light in you shine so that the darkness there will go, even though its thick or the pit of hill,it doesnt matter cos remember that he that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

  2. Kacey, I marvel at the way you let the Spirit work within you. I count having had the opportunity to know you as a pre-eminent blessing from my time at GCCS.

  3. I was so moved by your blog and the video. We live our little lives and so often find ourselves locked in negativity or complaining. Yet, all around the world there are beautiful young girls like these who are locked in the most horrible of circumstances. Thank you for opening my eyes to the lives Gods little girls on the Bangla Road are living. I am praying for all of you. Walk by faith and not by sight. He wouldn’t have sent you there if He didn’t have a plan and a purpose. Walk claiming the victory and thanking God in advance for the freedom and deliverance these girls are going to find. You have so much love to give…. You are my girl and I love you with all my heart!!!!!!

  4. Thanks for sharing about the ministry Kacey. As always, so proud of what you are doing and the boldness and vision you have. As we pray for you, we will be praying for SHE and the people on Bangla Rd.

  5. Thank you all so much for your comments, love and prayers!
I cannot tell you how much all of these things mean to me! You all are so encouraging and key in the ministry God is doing here. It would not be possible to do any of this without you. I am so blessed to have you all supporting me in prayer and as family in Christ! Lifting you all up in prayer!
    Love,
    Kacey

I have heard it said that there were angels here on earth but, until I got to know you I never realized it was so.

I pray for you ever day know God will keep his arms around you as you enter these awful and dangerous places you are going into now.

God be with you and remember you are his child and everybody is so proud of you .

    God bless,

    Aunty M 🙂
