Is This Really What I’m Seeing??
We made it to our final stop on this amazing trip around the world!
South Africa welcomed us first with our backpacks, which was a huge relief and then
With a wonderful hostile owner who told us its too windy to stay in out tents and told us to stay in the cabins for the week!
I woke up my first morning to the wind and the waves mixing into a harmonious tune…
Pulling on a jacket for the first time in months I stepped out into the cool breeze awe struck….
Is this really what I am seeing?
Is this really whats I am feeling?
Is this really what I am hearing?
Is this really what surrounds me for the next three months?
Mountains, trees, the ocean and a constant breeze!!???
Are you kidding me?
My heart is nothing but filled with praise.
Praise for where God has brought me.
Praise for the beautiful creation that surrounds me.
Praise God for surrounding me with nature, something that he uses to speak to me and draw me nearer to Him.
I am praising God for South Africa and the beautiful city of Cape Town.
This place will be my home for the next three months.
As we are here we not only will we be surrounded by indescribable beauty, but also many hard things. God will be with us everywhere we go, like the slums, up down, more dangerous places and wherever the Spirit lead us.
Please keep us in your prayers.
Pray for safety,
Pray for protection
Pray for the impossible.
Pray for change in South Africa.
Pray against the attacks of the enemy.
Specifically for me pray for TRUST!
TRUST… TRUST… TRUST.
I am so blessed to be having God revealing so many things he has planned for me when I return home. As a result of him revealing so many things to me the enemy is attacking me. (Worry, fear apprehension) Satan is fighting for my mind when I know its the Lord I put my trust in.
God has me here right now.
No where else.
So pray for focus and trust in God to work everything that future hold out.
When I am afraid
I will TRUST in you.
In God whose word I praise,
In God I TURST;
I WILL NOT BE AFRIAD
